The School Day The past and the future are very, very different. In the past you had to walk or ride a horse to school, but you had to do your chores before
school. You were to treat everyone with respect including teachers. In the past, a girl was hit with a ruler if she disobeyed. If you were a boy you would get a paddle on your bare butt. The past was harder for some people, but not to them now. The future will be very different from school today. In the future they will have more high technology then in the past. You do not get the same punishments as you do in the past. The way they teach will be different and always involves electronics. Students will have a more involved day then in the past, but the future is hard to predict. By: Brooke Silver, Marissa Smith, and Tori Warnecke (Grade 6) |
