Welcome to the Kindergarten - 8th Grade
Museum on Education
Students are taking part in a project based learning activity for the 4th quarter of the 2011-2012 School Year. This project will allow for the school to implement its research of the Multiple Intelligences. The goal is for students to take ownership of a project of their choosing.
The students will also be discovering how we all have our own area of expertise when it comes to learning - bodily/kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, linguistic, naturalistic, mathematical-logical, visual/spatial, and musical. Their research process will allow each student to see each Multiple Intelligence in action and how it can benefit the group setting. The final project, their Museum Vignette, will allow them the opportunity to work on one of their top 3 Multiple Intelligences either alone or with some members of their research group.
The Course of Study will remain as the central core of this project. Students will be focusing on the benchmarks listed below.
